Chronology

The history of the manufactory dates back to 2010. It all started with a purchased genuine leather case and a question: "Can't I do the same?". As it turned out - smog, after that other, more complex products appeared. But one day, when the strap on the watch was worn out and it was impossible to buy the original one, because the watch had already been discontinued, I had to try to make my first strap. At the same time, it was realized that the watch strap is one of the most complex products created earlier.

I had to spend a lot of time, effort, money and acquire a huge number of tools to achieve a result "more or less". And only a year later, the result began to become "acceptable", as it seemed at that time. To understand how this is done, photos from Hermes house exhibitions, any photos from productions, foreign forums and any other information contributing to quality improvement were viewed, it had to be literally searched out. Now, if you want to start somewhere, you just need to open a well-known video site and start watching/learning.

Tools and materials are a separate part of the development history. At that time, there was absolutely no way to buy high-quality tools and materials in the country. If now you can find and buy everything on the Internet without any problems, then at that time active trading on the Internet was just beginning to gain momentum.Elementary punchers that punch holes for manual stitching were ordered for fabulous sums from France at that time, along with paint for edge processing and other tools. This also applies to materials, if it is not difficult to buy crocodile skin now, then at that time it had to be done through private suppliers working only for acquaintances. In a nutshell, it was difficult.

Then there was a small workshop, a tiny leather rack on Vasilievsky Island, which some of our very first customers managed to find, then more leather and another workshop, a new workshop, then a production room and industrial equipment to improve the quality of products, which many of our regular customers also managed to see.
